Where Did May Go?

Wow! May flew by! June is tomorrow. I can not believe how fast this year is going! Seems like just yesterday I was planning Madeline 2nd Bday and now next month she will be 2.5. This month was busy. My brother got married on May, 9th so I now have a new niece and sister in law. The wedding was beautiful! My photography business is picking up which is great. Madeline is offically potty trained. It was amazing how easy it was when she was ready. She is growing by leaps and bounds and has offically become a picky eater. Pizza, Mac n Cheese and Hot potato is about it for her. We had our Church Campmeeting this past weekend and the weather was beautiful!My sister's and I participated in a 5k run on Friday. Anna and Emily both placed in thier age groups and I finished just outside mine. I am hooked now though, cant waite till the next one. Hopefully we are instore for some nicer weather now that summer is almost here!

Next Big Journey

So I started this blog back in February to enter Madeline in a photo contest. You had to have a blog to register. I didnt keep it up, but I have decided to try and keep it up so family and friends can be up to date on what is happening in mine and Madeline's life.

The biggest news is that this past monday, 4-13-09, my momm started potty training Madeline. I was begining to think that she would be starting kindergarten in diapers, but I guess that she finally was ready. So at 2 years, 2 months and 2 days we began the next big journey in her life. I am happy to say that after almost a week she has done great. She loves wearing big girl panties and being a big girl. I am glad the diaper stage is almost over but in a way I am sad too. She is no longer a baby. Sigh.....Now on to the Passy.

Madeline just turned 2 years old and is a bundle of joy and amazement. She is so full of life and innocence that she is the perfect picture subject. Her love for life is captured in so many pictures. She is a girly girl with just enough "Sass" in her to make any ordinary picture "Picture Perfect" quality.
